Day 01 ::Arrive Kolkatta. Meet and assistance at international
airport at Kolkatta. Transfer to Hotel.
Day 02 :: Kolkatta/Bhubanneswar
Morning city tour of Kolkatta. Evening transfer to Howrah
railway station for overnight train to Bhubaneswar.
Day 03 :: Bhubaneshwar
Arrive Bhubaneshwar at 05.30 hrs. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon
half day sight-seeing of Bhubaneshwar visiting Parasurameshwara,
Mukteshwar, Raja Rani & Ligaraja Temples. Overnight in
hotel.
Day 04 :: Bhubaneshwar
After breakfast full day sight-seeing of Bhubaneshwar visiting
Kandagiri, Udaigiri caves and Nadan Kannan zoological and
botanical gardens. Overnight in hotel.
Day 05 :: Bhubaneshwar / Puri
After breakfast drive to Puri visiting Dhauli, Pipli &
Konark on the way. On arrival check-in hotel for overnight
stay.
Day 06 :: Puri
Morning sight-seeing of Puri visiting Jagannath temple, Gundicha
temple, Narendra Tank and Bada danda (The local market in
front of the temple) Afternoon free to relax on the beach.
Overnight in hotel.
Day 07 :: Puri / Baliguda
After breakfast drive to Baliguda (310 Kms / 8 hrs approx)
visiting a few road side Semi - Tribal Villages. Overnight
in hotel. (This day must be a Monday).
Day 08 :: Baliguda / Rayagada
After breakfast drive to Rayagada (220 Kms / 6 hrs) enroute
visiting a few Kuttiya Kindha villages. Overnight in hotel
/ guesthouse. (This day must be a Tuesday).
Day 09 :: Rayagada / Jeypore
After breakfast drive to Niyamagiri hills, visit of a few
Dongariya Kondha villages & weekly market (Weekly Market
is only on Wednesday). Proceed to Jeypore enroute visiting
ornamental Baro Paraja villages(260 Kms / 6 - 7 hrs). Overnight
in hotel.
Day 10 :: Jeypore
After breakfast drive to Onukudelli , visit of Bonda &
Gadhaba market & a few Gadhaba Villages (Weekly market
is only on Thursday) . Return drive to Jeypore for overnight
stay (180 kms / 4 - 5 hrs drive round trip).
Day
11 :: Jeypore
After breakfast drive to Gupteswar areas to visit Dhuruba
and Paraja tribal villages. Visit Hidden Siva Lingam in cave
near river Saberi. Afternoon visit Nuagaon market and Kotpad
tribal textile villages. Overnight Jeypore. (150 kms 6 hrs
drive round trip).
Day
12 :: Jeypore / Gopalpur on Sea
After breakfast drive to Gopalpur on Sea, a small city near
Bay of Bengal. (360 Kms / 7 - 8 Hrs) visiting Jagannath Temple
& Tribal museum at Koraput. Overnight in hotel.
Day 13 :: Gopalpur on Sea/ Bhubaneshwar
After breakfast drive to Bhubaneshwar (180 Kms / 4 - 5 hrs)
enroute visiting Chilka lake (Asia's largest Salt water Lake).
Boat ride on the lake. Later proceed Bhubaneshwar for overnight
stay.
Day 14 :: Bhubaneshwar / Kolkatta
After breakfast transfer to airport for flight to Kolkatta.
On arrival in Kolkatta, transfer to hotel. Evening transfer
to International Airport for departure.

Orissa Cultural Tour. CODE AHT/110
Day 1: Kolkatta/Bhubanewswar
Arrive at Bhubaneswar.Transfer to Hotel for fresh up. Later
visit the temples of Bhubaneswar like, Lingaraja Temples,
Mukteswara temple, Rajarani Temple, Parasurameswara Temple,
Mukteswara Temple, Brahmeswara Temple and Bindu Sorovar one
of four sacred Lake of India for Hindus. Evening back to Hotel
Day 2: Bhubaneswar
Morning after breakfast drive to Hirapur to see one of the
four 64 Yogini temples of India, 15 kms from Bhubaneswar city
within a typical bell metal village. Afternoon proceeds to
Khandagiri and Udayagiri Jain caves dated back to 2nd century
B.C. Later visit the bazaars of Bhubaneswar for typical Orissan
Sarees and handicrafts. Overnight Hotel in Bhubaneswar.
Day 3: Bhubaneswar/Konark/Puri
Proceeds to Puri, one of the Dhams for the Hindus called Swarga
Dwar or Door to Heaven, enroute visiting Korark Suntemple
of 13th Century A.D. The magnificent Sun Temple at Konark
is the culmination of Orissan temple architecture, and one
of the most stunning monuments of religious architecture in
the world. The poet Rabindranath Tagore said of Konark that
'here the language of stone surpasses the language of man',
and it is true that the experience of Konark is impossible
to translate into words.After Konark sightseeing with experienced
guide, drive to Puri enroute visiting Chandrabhaga beach and
river. It is believed that Samba the son of Lord Krishna,
cured from leprosy after taking a bath in the river. Later
arrive Puri and checked in at Hotel Hans Coco Palm. (total
120 kms drive + visiting time).
Day 4: Puri/Chilika Lagoon
Morning visit the Puri jagarnath Temple and see the morning
Aarti and Puja. The temple of Lord Jagannath ('Lord of the
Universe') at Puri is one of the most sacred pilgrimage spots
in India, one of the four abodes (dhamas) of the divine that
lie on the four directions of the compass. The present temple
structure was built in the twelfth century by the Ganga king,
Chodagangadeva, replacing an earlier structure which probably
dated to the tenth century.After spending good time, you can
have the famous Prasad (meal) of temple kitchen, as the temple
have the largest kitchen of the world. Later proceeds to Satapada
part of Chilika lake to see Irawaddy Dolphins and drive back
to Puri. (Satapada is 50 kms from Puri). Evening visit bazaars
of Puri. Overnight Hotel in Puri.
Day 5: Puri/Bhubaneswar
Drive to Bhubaneswar for flight to Kolkatta enroute visiting
painting village Raghurajpur , patchwork village Pipili and
the famous Rock Edict of Mourya Emperor Ashoka, who after
the war converted to Buddhism and spread Buddhism all over
the world. Arrive at Kolkatta and transfer to Hotel or for
onward journey.

Day01:(Thursday) Arrival at Bhubaneswar, transfer to
Hotel. After fresh up sightseeing of Bhubaneswar
Temples. O/N Hotel.
Day02:(Friday) Morning tour of Hirapur Yogini temple
,
one of the four found in India along with Bell Metal
village. Afternoon visit of Snake Charmers village,
considered as one of the tribes of Orissa and visit of
tribal Museum and Caves. O/N Hotel.
Day 03:(Saturday)Drive to Puri , one of the four holy
place for the Hindus enroute visiting Asokan Rock Edict at
Dhauli, patchwork village Pipili and the famous Sun temple
of Konark. Evening Bazaars of Puri. O/N Hotel. (Total 150kms
+ visiting time).
Day 04: (Sunday) Drive through the typical Orissan
village to Gopalpur, enroute visit the Chilika lake. O/N Gopalpur
(total 220kms, 4hrs + visiting time).
Day 05:(Mon day) After breakfast drive to Rayagada
enroute visiting typical south Orissan villages,Taptapani
hot sulphur spring and the Savara or Saora villages. Savaras
are the oldest tribe of India and have their own language.
(Total 220kms drive + visiting time). Evening arrival in the
Hotel at Rayagada.
Day 06:(Tues Day) After breakfast proceeds to the Niyamgiri
mountain to see the different villages of primitive Dongaria
Kondhs, see their particular stlyle of the houses, their village
goddesses, where they used to give human sacrifice, their
village council of houses. If you interested in little trekking
then you can trek through the jungle of the mountain. Afternoon
visit the village of metalsmith, called Agaria, who
makes the ornament of Dongaria Kondhs and their metal implements.
Total drive 100kms + visiting time.
Day 07: (Wednes day) After breakfast proceeds to Chatikana,
the weekly market of Dongariya Kondhs. Photographic activities
in the market and later back
to Hotel . After lunch in the same hotel proceeds to Jeypore
enroute visiting Ornamental Parajas tribe. O/N Hotel. (Morning
2hrs drive and afternoon 3hrsdrive +
visiting time).
Day 08:(Thursday)Early morning drive to the weekly
market of Bondo, Gadaba and Didayi tribe. Lot of photographic
activities there and later visits the villages of Baro Gadaba
like Gotalpara, Kangrapada etc. Evening back to the hotel.
(Total 3hrs drive+
visiting time).
Day 09:(Friday) Morning session visits the Kunduli
market near Similigurha and back to the hotel. After having
a quick lunch proceeds to Gupteswara area to see Dhuruva Gond
tribes and visit hidden Siva lingam. Evening back to hotel.
(Total 5hours drive + visiting time).
Day 10: (Saturday) Drive to Visakhapatnam enroute visiting
an animal market. Evening Bazaars of Visakhapatman. Total
5hrs drive + visiting time).
Day 11:(Sunday) If Delhi flight, then in the morning
visit the Simhachalam temple enroute to Airport. Departure.
(Total 2hours).
Orissa

Day-1- (Saturday):Arrival at Visakhapatnam, transfer
to Jeypore. Total 5hrs drive. O/N hotel at Jeypore.
Day-2- (Sunday): Early morning proceeds to the weekly
market of Bondo and Didayi tribes at mundiguda. Bondos are
the most primitive tribes of Orissa living in the mountains
called Bondo hills. Their language is called Remo, which comes
under Austro-Asiatic language belonging to mundari group.
The Bondos use scanty clothes to cover their body. The dress
of a Bondo woman is remarkable. It is called Ringa of about
2feet
length and feet in wide. It is striped and coloured cloth
tied to the waist thread. The Bondo women usuing their indigenous
looms to make ringa for them out of a plant fiber called kerang.
They also use beautiful brass and aluminum necklaces and hundreds
of bead necklaces to cover their beauty. After photo session
proceeds to Gupteswara area to see the Dhuruba tribes. Evening
back to the hotel. Total 4 hrs drive + visiting time.
Day-3-
Monday:Drive to Machhakund area to visit primitive Barogadaba
tribe. Villages like Gotalpara; Dural etc are the core houses
of Gadabas. Watch their beautiful Dhemsa dance in one of the
villages. Total drive 4hrs + visiting time.
Day-4-Tuesday: Drive to Rayagada enroute Paraja and
Kondhs villages. Late ternoon visit the Niyamgiri mountain
to visit the primitive villages of Dongariya kondh. Total
3hrs drive + visiting time.
Day-5- Wednesday: Visit Chatikana market and one of
the Dongariya village and afternoon proceeds to Gopalpur.
Total 270kms drive + visiting time.
Day-6- Thursday: Morning see the fishing activities
near Bay of Bengal and proceeds to Puri enroute visiting Kalijai
Temple Island in Chilika lake.200kms,5hrs. O/N Puri
Day-7- Friday: Visit of Konark Sun temple. Afternoon
visit of traditional painting villages like Raghurajpur, Khasposak
etc and Puri Jagannath temple and the bazaars area.100kms
+ visiting time. O/N Puri.
Day-8- Saturday:Drive to Bhubaneswar enroute visiting
Pipili village and Dhauli Stupa. Afternoon visit of ancient
temples of Bhubaneswar.60kms + visiting time.
Day-9- Sunday:Visit Hirapur yogini temple and bell
metal workshop in the village, snake charmers village,tribal
museum and Udayagiri caves.
Day-10- Monday- Transfer and Departure.

roads, and the hotels in these areas are 2* deluxe hotels
with Air-conditioned rooms with modern amenities. Restaurants
